Luke Buchanan does not work in politics but he has been politically active. As a volunteer photographer, Luke Buchanan took photographs of political events for HispanicLink.org. For the 2012 election year, Luke Buchanan worked as a field organizer for President Obama’s reelection campaign.

Although Luke Buchanan is a busy man trying to build a successful career selling real estate, he pays attention to social matters. He often reflects about things he hears in the news and over the internet in his blog. On the Hill, Luke Buchanan photographs anything pertaining to the Hispanic population in America.  “It is very interesting.  Recently, it has mostly been about the Immigration Reform Bill.  I even got the chance to sit in on Department of Homeland Security Senator Janet Napolitano’s five-day testimony on immigration reform,” says Luke Buchanan.
