Luke Buchanan Works Real Estate in Washington, D.C.

Many people find themselves moving away from their hometowns for career opportunities. Luke Buchanan was raised along with his siblings in Washington, D.C. Despite everything the region has to offer, Luke Buchanan found himself applying to the Tulane University in New Orleans.
As a student, Luke Buchanan was a double major. His focus was on environmental studies and communications. Luke Buchanan was active as a student; he played men’s lacrosse and worked as a post-Katrina volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He was also the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pledge Class President of 2007.

As he prepared to graduate, Luke Buchanan was offered a position with an advertising and public relations firm in Santa Monica, California. Hired as an Associate Strategist at Dentsu Advertising, Luke Buchanan worked there for a short while before determining it was not the career he wanted for himself.

Working in the advertisement firm was not a waste for Luke Buchanan. Many of his skills were transferable to his work as a real estate salesman. So he moved back to Washington, D.C. and worked to start his career in real estate. After doing all the necessary work to get into real estate, Luke Buchanan received his D.C. Real Estate Salesperson license in April of 2013. This was a great moment for Luke Buchanan. He found a job with Washington Fine Properties where he works as Marketing and Operations Manager.

Luke Buchanan has less worked in real estate for less than a year but he already knows he loves the job. Now, Luke Buchanan works to perfect his skills as a real estate salesperson. What he finds most rewarding about the job is helping families find their new home amidst all the stress and frustration homeowners and homebuyers face when selling or buying a home. Luke Buchanan aspires to be one of the best in his office.
